Open day program “Ancestral Kitchen”

The Caterers Academy is a professional vocational training school in the field of Hospitality and Tourism with the motto of “changing students’ lives by providing knowledge, skills and passion for them to express all their hidden potential”. Vocational training courses in: kitchen, bakery, bartending, hotel-bar management, English and cooking for tourists are quite attractive to students and attract their interest and research.

During April, if anyone does not have plans to travel far on the occasion of the Hung King’s death anniversary, everyone can find interesting culinary experiences, special traditional dishes associated with the Hung King’s legend such as: Lang Lieu fried Chung cake, Mi Nuong Lam rice, Royal roasted chicken, Special royal vegetable salad… Following that sentiment, The Caterers Academy’s open day program called “Ancestor’s death anniversary kitchen” creates a colorful culinary atmosphere with the dish “Phoenix hatching eggs” which not only creates more choices for the feast, but also improves cooking techniques and most of all, learns the art of eye-catching vegetable carving. Therefore, the number of students who can experience will be prioritized for 20 students who register early, hope you don’t miss it!

Time: April 16, 2017 at 7:00 – 12:00 with program content:

7:00 – 8:00: Welcome students, set up uniforms, seats, label names, check in

8:00 – 8:30: Disseminate the rules of the class, introduce the company and program – the class is about to open.

8:30 – 9:00: Exchange with lecturers, introduce cooking tools and the meaning of dishes.

9:00 – 10:00: Instruction and competition on Beijing Pia rolls – Hot kitchen instructor (Ms. Thanh)

10:00 – 10:30: Instruction on practicing Vietnamese dishes suitable for memorial occasions (Phoenix hatching eggs) – Hot kitchen instructor (Mr. Long)

10:30 – 11:00: Instruction on cutting techniques for vegetables and fruits on the tray – Hot kitchen instructor (Mr. Hung)

11:00 – 11:15: Visit the bakery and cold kitchen of The Caterers.

11:15 – 12:00: Lecturer comments, awarding gifts to excellent groups, tasting, games with gifts, writing information and feelings, taking souvenir photos.
